The obvious answer is “To save us.” But many things are attached to being saved by His grace.

STEWARDSHIP has been given to us by God’s grace. Ephesians 3:1-2

As Paul was given “The stewardship of God’s grace” to reveal the mystery of Christ doesn’t it stand to reason that everyone who has been saved by the grace of God has been given an element of “STEWARDSHIP” to let others know about God’s saving grace?

MINISTRY has been given to us by God’s grace. Ephesians 3:7-12

Again as Paul “Was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace” doesn’t it stand to reason that everyone who has been saved by God’s grace has received a ministry to share the message of His saving grace with others? For the very purpose of “The church” is to share “The manifold wisdom of God.”

GIFTS have been given to us by God’s grace. Ephesians 4:7

The text seems to be clear on this matter. “Grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.” The gifts that we have received by God’s grace are to be used to build up the body and bring it into harmony as we serve the Lord in a united way.

PUTTING OFF OUR SINFUL WAYS is given to us by God’s grace.Ephesians 4:17-32

Once we truly learn about Jesus Christ and His truth we will have no appetite for the sensual ways but will want to walk “After the likeness of God is true righteousness and holiness.” This will be clearly evident by the things we practice in our new life with Christ. We will have no delight in “Falsehood” but will “Speak the truth” with all. We will not allow ourselves to harbor anger. We will not be a “Thief” but do “Honest work with our own hands, so that we may have something to share with anyone in need.” We will not delight in having “A silver tongue” but we will speak, so our words “Give grace to those who hear.”We will not “Grieve the Holy Spirit of God.” We will “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from us, along with all malice. We will “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave us.”

LOVING INCORRUPTIBLE has been given to us by God’s grace. Ephesians 6:23-24

TO BE IN PARTNERSHIP has been given to us by God’s grace. Philippians 1:3-11

God meant for there to be a special bond between all who are truly saved by His grace. This bond is never taken lightly by those who know the power of the gospel. They know that without the kindness, love and mercy of God they would be lost and they know that this is also true of all those who have been saved. So they cherish their relationship immensely.

TO HAVE THE SPIRIT has been given to us by God’s grace. Philippians 4:21-23

BEAR FRUIT AND GROWING has been given to us by God’s grace. Colossians 1:3-8

The desire of our heavenly Father is for all the saved to be healthy and strong in their faith.

GOD’S GRACE IS ALL ABOUT SAVING US AND KEEPING US SAVED!
