It’s not a sin to believe in GRACE!
God didn’t create us and yell from heaven, “GOOD LUCK!”
Nor did He plan to leave it all up to us to find Him by doing our best.

Hell will be full of people who believe that doing their best would be good enough!

It’s the cross of Jesus that saves us!
It is Jesus who attended to what we could not achieve.
It is Jesus purchased what we could never, never pay for.
It is Jesus who said to God the Father, “I have glorified You on earth, having accomplished the work that You gave Me to do.” John 17:4
“Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scriptures), “I thirst.”

A jar full of sour wine stood there, so they put a sponge full of the sour wine on a hyssop branch and held it to His mouth. When Jesus received the sour wine, He said, “IT IS FINISHED,” and He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.” John 19:28-30

BY GOD’S GRACE, LOVE AND MERCY WE ARE SAVED!

This is the theme acknowledged throughout the Old Testament and Jesus came to accomplish it.

“Everything written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.

Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, “Thus is it written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgives of sins should be proclaimed in His name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.” Luke 24:44-47

Without Jesus everyone will be lost but with Jesus the New Testament confirms that we can be saved because He fulfilled God’s plan and promise.

“When the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying “ABBA FATHER!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.” Galatians 4:4-7

HOW DO WE RESPOND TO GOD’S GRACE, LOVE AND MERCY?

“By grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:8-10
