The greatest act of grace

That has ever taken place.

Happened some 2000 years ago

When a sinless Man was put to death

Giving us grace as He took His last breath

And paying a debt that He did not owe

He was falsely accused

And put before Pilot

He was sentenced to death

But He still remained silent

As the crowd yelled for Barabbas

Christ stood there alone

As He took mankind’s sins

And made them His own

He was beaten and flogged and given 39 lashes

He was lead through the streets in front of the masses

He was nailed to that cross and put between 2 thieves

The pain He endured was beyond belief

As He struggled to breath He called on His father

Then He gave up His life and died with great honor

And 3 days later He rose again

He overcame death and made an atonement for sin

This selfless act of God’s only Son

Was the greatest Act of Mercy

That ever was done.
