He is the “Great I AM!”
He is the only unique One!
He has no predecessor and no successor!
He is the One who is, who was, and who will always be!
He is the first and the last, the Alpha and Omega, the Aleph and the Tau!
His fullness is incomprehensible and indescribable and yet to all who come know Him through His word He is irresistible.
He humbled Himself so we could be lifted up!
He is the only one able to supply all our needs…simultaneously!
His love for us was written in blood, on a wooden cross, crowned with thorns and drawn out by a spear!
His message for us is simple, “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy burden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden light.” Matthew 11:28-30
No barriers can hinder Him from pouring out His heavenly blessings on all who believe in Him!
He came to guide us away from sin when we are young before we are ensnared by it eternally.
He came to give us hope when we are aging so we would not be overcome by the frailty of life.
He came to aid us when we are tempted and the tried so we would have someone to turn to and trust.
He has come to deliver the captives, discharge the debtors, fortify the faithful, guard the godly, hold up the humble, protect the peaceful and reward His servants.
Humanity can’t explain Him so they hate Him!
His accusers couldn’t agree on their accusations against Him so they lied. Pilate couldn’t “find any fault” with Him so he turned Him over to a mob filled with madness. The mob lead by callused confusion cried out “Crucify Him, Crucify Him, Crucify Him.” One of His executioners who witnessed the devilish deed cried out “Truly this was the Son of God!”
Death and the grave could not rob Him of His true identity!
“God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of JESUS every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth, and every tongue confess that JESUS Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11
