SOMETHING FOR THE FAMILY

“THE HOUSE OF GOD”It’s more than a building or a mere gathering place. It is the body, bride, church, house, and kingdom of God. Matthew 16:13-19; Ephesians 5:22-32;

GOD’S FAMILY IS MADE UP OF “THE CALLED OUT”God’s grace, love, and wordcall us. Joel 2:32; Matthew 6:9; Mark 3:31-35; John 3:29; Acts 2:38-39; 2 Corinthians 13:14

WE ARE CALLED TO GATHER TOGETHER: Being with one another is special. Fellowshipping, having Bible study, serving, working and worshipping along side of each other and with one another helps us keep our family ties meaningful and rewarding. Matthew 18:20; Acts 20:7; Hebrews 10:19-25

WE ARE CALLED TO GROW IN GOD’S WILL: Signs of growth are a joy for every family and it isn’t any different with God’s family.  Acts 2:42; Ephesians 5:15-21

WE ARE CALLED TO CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER: As the song says, “Sometimes we laugh together, sometimes we cry; sometimes we share together heartaches and sighs; sometimes we dream together of how it will be when we all get to heaven…” Acts 2:44-47; Romans 12:15-16; Galatians 6:1-2

WE ARE CALLED TO ASSIST ONE ANOTHER:  That’s what family does! Acts 4:32-37; 26-27; 11:19-30; 13:42-48

WE ARE CALLED TO CORRECT ONE ANOTHER: That’s what loving families do! Matthew 18:15-18; 1 Corinthians 5:9-13; 2 Thessalonians 3:6-15; Hebrews

WE ARE CALLED TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER: No family can exist without it!

John 13:34-35; Romans 12:9-13; 1 John 3:16-23

WE ARE CALLED TO INFLUENCE THE WORLD: When your family is the best that’s what you want to do. Matthew 5:13-16; 13:33; John 17:6-16; 1 Peter 2:11-12

GOD WANTS US ALL TO BE IN HIS FAMILY. Are you? John 1:1-13; Galatians 3:26-29

GOD WANTS OUR CONDUCT TO BE GODLY. We should want to be like our brother Paul and “Imitate Christ” so we can be just like our heavenly Father! 1 Corinthians 11:1

WHEN GOD’S FAMILY BECOMES OUR PRIORITY WE WILL HAVE VISION 2020!
