WE’RE HAVING A CELEBRATION SUNDAY, AUGUST 2ND
This year marks our tenth anniversary for being blessed with our new auditorium and we want to celebrate it.
Along with celebrating our anniversary in the new auditorium we want everyone who has been married in the new auditorium over the past ten years to make a special effort to be here to celebrate their union together in Christ.
In addition to those who are celebrating anniversaries we want every child in the congregation who has been born over the past ten years to be here so we can celebrate their lives that God has given us to enjoy and love.
Thinking about celebrating we especially want everyone who has been baptized into Christ over the past ten years to be here so we can celebrate the new life you have in Christ.
We also want to celebrate the memories of our members who have passed on to the Lord over the past ten year. As we do this just as we do every Lord’s Day we will celebrate our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by partaking of His memorial meal that He instituted the night that He was betrayed by partaking of the bread in remembrance of His body and partaking of the fruit of the vine in remembrance of His blood that was shed for our sins. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.
While we are celebrating we want everyone who has placed membership with the congregation over the past ten years to be recognized for your decision to be part of the Lord’s work in this area.
With our thoughts on the Lord’s Work we especially want to recognize all our loyal labors that have been actively involved in the church of Christ here in De Soto over the past ten years and long before for your faithful attendance, contributions and overall conviction to Christ and His church for your help to make today’s tenth year anniversary celebration possible.
WE HOPE EVERY MEMBER WILL DO THERE BEST TO ATTEND!
