“DON’T REMOVE THE ANCIENT LANDMARK…”

“Don’t remove the ancient landmark that your fathers have set.” Proverbs 22:28, 23:10

“Remember the days of old; consider the years of many generations; ask your father, and he will show you, your elders, and they will tell you.” Deuteronomy 32:7

Isaiah 44:6-8

“Don’t remove the ancient landmark…” they have their purpose.

They establish boundary lines so we can know where to go and where not to go.          

They help us learn from the education and experiences of those who have gone before us.

They inform us of past events that are good and that are bad so we can learn from both of them.

They reveal to us God’s omnipresence and confirm that He is always present no matter what.
