“Thank You’s” are in Order during trying times.

The scriptures teach us to, “Give thanks in all circumstances…” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

During good times and bad times there’s a lot to be thankful for.

It helps us be thankful when we think of all the things we should be thankful for.

Thank you to everyone who continues to mail their church contributions.

Thank you to the mail carriers who are doing their best to get us our mail.

Thank You to God for allowing our government to remain solvent so we can get mail.

Thank You to God for allowing the financial institutions to stay open so we can get our checks.

Thank you to the men who mowed the lawn around the church building.

Thank You to our heavenly Father for allowing the grass to grow another day.

Thank You to our heavenly Father for allowing us to have a church building to return to.

Thank You to our heavenly Father for allowing us to have homes where we can mow our lawns.

Thank you to those who are making calls and checking on others.

Thank You to our heavenly Father for allowing us to have one another.

Thank you to those keeping the phone lines up and running so we can make calls.

Thank You to our heavenly Father for allowing the phone lines to continue to operate.

Thank you to those who are picking up items and taking them to others in safe ways.

Thank you to the farmers and merchants doing what they can so we have items to pick up.

Thank You to our heavenly Father for allowing these items to be available for all of us.

Trying times may cause us not to be thankful but when we really think about it doesn’t it make sense to be extra thankful when times are tuff?

Think about Job and the lesson we learn from him when he encountered his trying times.

“He said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”Job 1:21

This type of thankfulness and thinking during trying times enables us to have VISION 2020!
