Don’s Delivery: PREDICTIONS JESUS FULFILLED!

God planned for Jesus to come before time began. Peter declares, “He
was foreknown before the foundation of the world…” 1 Peter 1:20 Paul
declared, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who
has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in
Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the
world…” Ephesians 1:3-4 Jesus, Himself prayed, “O Father, glorify Me
together with (Alongside) Yourself, with the glory which I had with
You before the world was.” John 17:5

God in His perfect knowledge and wisdom planned for Jesus to come into
the world because He knew we would sin and that we would need a
Savior. The “Fall” of Adam and Eve was no surprise for God. When God
instructed Adam not to eat of the forbidden fruit He knew that he
would eat. God knew the cunning nature of the devil and He knew that
he would sway the first couple to sin just as he had done some of the
angels and even himself. God’s plan of salvation was designed for “The
Seed Of Woman” to come into the world to be our redeemer. Genesis
3:14-15 This first recorded promise and prophecy from God for a Savior
to come was passed on through Abraham and David. Genesis 22:18; 2
Samuel 7:12-13 The genealogy of Jesus confirms that He was a
descendant of Abraham and David. Matthew 1:1 It is also confirmed by
the scriptures that He is, “The son of Adam, the Son of God.” Luke
3:23-38 Paul confirms this to be God’s plan in Galatians 3:16 “Now to
Abraham and his SEED were the promises made. He does not say, “And to
seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your SEED,” who is Christ.”

Jesus is God’s planned “Seed Of Woman.” For this to occur He had to be
born of a virgin, born only of a woman just as Isaiah predicted.
Isaiah 7:14 The fulfillment of this plan is recorded in detail in the
gospels. Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-56 Paul confirms that this plan of
God came to be, “When the fullness of time had come, God sent forth
His Son, born of a woman, born under the law.” Galatians 4:4

The apostle John confirms, “In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word was God…And the Word became flesh
and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:1 & 14
