God Can Use You

Don’s Delivery: GOD CAN USE YOU!

Anytime you think that God can’t use you, Think again.
He used Abraham even though he lied.
He used Jacob even though he wrestled with Him.
He used Joseph even though he was a slave in a foreign land.
He used Moses even though he gave excuse after excuse.
He used Samuel even though he was only a child.
He used Samson even though he had a weakness for the ladies.
He used Rahab even though her previous occupation was prostitution.
He used David even though he was an adulterous and murderer.
He used Elijah even though he contemplated suicide.
He used Jonah even though he tried to run away for Him.
He used Naomi even though she was a widow.
He used Martha even though she worried a lot.
He used Mary even though she neglected her work.
He used Peter even though he was a hot head.
He used Zaccheus even though he was a little man.
He used Paul even though he was previously a persecutor.
He used Timothy even though he was timid.

God can use you if you are willing to walk with Him.
Oh! For a closer walk with God, A calm and heavenly frame; A light to
shine the road that leads me to the Lamb!

Where is the blessedness I knew when first I saw the Lord? Where is
the soul-refreshing view of Jesus, and His word?

What peaceful hours I once enjoyed! How sweet their memory still but
they have left an aching void, the world can never fill.

Return, O holy dove, return, sweet messenger of rest; I hate the sins
that made thee mourn, and drove thee from my breast.

The dearest idol I have known, whatever that idol be; help me to tear
it from thy throne, and worship only thee.

So shall my walk be close with God, calm and serene my frame; so purer
light shall mark the road that leads me to the Lamb.

OH! FOR A CLOSER WALK WITH GOD!
